At the cities level we are moving into listening for the individual phonemes (sounds) within 3 sound words.
We are now getting deep under the hood of the processes that we use each time we read and write. In this section, we follow the developmental progression for learning to discern sounds in a word. We start by listening for the first sound, then we move to listening for the end sounds, finally, we look at the middle sound in a word.
